SECTION 7. (a) Employees will furnish, transport, maintain, and replace as necessary the
following hand tools:
(1) a one-inch by twenty-five foot (1”x25’) measuring tape
(2) a nine-inch (9”) torpedo level
(3) a pair of ten-inch (10”) channel-lock pliers
(4) a screwdriver set
(5) an eight-inch (8”) adjustable wrench
(6) a ten-inch (10”) adjustable wrench
(7) a fourteen-inch (14”) pipe wrench
(8) an eighteen-inch (18”) pipe wrench
(9) a ball-peen hammer
(10) a tri-square
(11) a plumb-bob
(12) a chalk box
(13) a three-eighths inch (3/8”) socket set
(14) a flashlight and batteries
(15) a tubing cutter (one-inch (1”) and down)
(16) a tool box sufficient to carry the tools listed herein
(b) Any tools other than those listed in this Section needed to complete the work assigned
will be provided by the Signatory Contractor. The Signatory Contractor may also present the
employee with an itemized list of all tools furnished to the employee by the Signatory Contractor.
This list shall contain the description and cost of tools furnished to the employee, together with
a uniform written explanation of this tool policy at the time the Signatory Contractor’s tools are
placed in the employee’s custody. When a Signatory Contractor has provided a locked tool
storage container or some other safe place for the storage of the Signatory Contractor’s tools, any
tools furnished to the employee by the Contractor that are lost or stolen due to the negligence of
the employee shall be replaced by the employee with like tools, or at the employee’s option, may
be replaced by the Signatory Contractor at the cost reflected by the itemized list and deducted
from the employee’s next paycheck.
 
Central Plant   B&K
Working 6-12’s, spotty Sundays.  $34.15/check, Days. $39.22 nights,  Drug screen required prior to hire in, can go to nearest Lab Corp in the area.  I will send paperwork once bio is received.  See attached word document for incentives/per diem.  
Current needs:
 
RMD/STT/Pulse Wire welders days.  $150/day per diem for RMD Welders
Stick welders, days, $110/day per diem, combo welders get $110/day
Pipefitters
3 plumbers on nights
 
 
Dynamic Systems 
Working 5-10’s and 1-8 days, background must be completed before hire in.
For the travelers, at this time, $600/week per diem. 58 hours must be worked to get this.  51-57 hours worked, $480/week PD, 50 and less hours worked, $0 per diem.
 
4High purity fitters  $600/week per diem
2 SS Tig welders   $3000/month per diem
6 orbital welders  $3000/month per diem
6 SS fitters for outside cleanroom.  $600/week per diem

TIG/Stick Welder - $120 per day worked

Fitters / Plumbers/ Welders with only TIG cert - $110 per day worked

 

Local Incentive Plan (Local 286 Members)

 

 

• Locals must work 80% of available hours each month to qualify for incentive. Incentive will be taxable, treated as a bonus, and paid the first paycheck following the completed month.by the 15^th following the month completed each month. As a bonus, the payment will be subject to federal taxes to include FICA.
• If you worked at least 1 full week in the month of your hire that month will count as your first month.
  • Example you started 6/28 your first month will be July
  • Example you started 6/19 your first month will be June
• All Locals will receive payment by the 15^th of September in accordance with the seniority they have accrued to date.
  • Example MIG Welder hired on 5/15 would receive $3,000.00
